Chapter#3 : Growth Contents.

Growth contents in BirdTornado is followings :

Characters
Projectile
Buff

Characters, Projectile and Buff help players to get strengthened and defeat the monsters easier. As player clear the stage, the path to next stage gets harder and these growth contents can get player a wing to fly!

Characters

Character is a hunter to shoot down the bird monsters. Player will be controlling the character to dodge the missiles. Each character has its own enhanced stats, additional buff skill, and the number of uses. Some of them can be purchased with Ruby when player level reaches its’ requirement, and some of them can be obtained from the Character summon in the Shop.

Character Specialty :

3 enhanced stats
1 extra buff skill

As the number of Stars are bigger, enhanced stats get stronger. Also 1 extra buff skill will be very helpful in the battle, which will be same as a 1 extra level up (Some of low level character may not have an extra buff skill).

Number of uses :

Permanent — Ruby purchase
10 times — Character Summon

Any character you get from Character summon can be used to play for 10 times. If you summon the same character twice, then the number of uses will be stacked up which it would be 20 times.

Projectile

Projectile is type of shooting player can choose. There are three types shooting : Well-balanced attack, Large damage attack, Fast speed attack. Each missile has its’ own specialty and player will have to choose which one fits on style.

Projectile type :

Well-balanced attack

→ Deals good damage with normal speed

Large damage attack

→ Deal large damage with slow speed

Fast speed attack

→ Deal less damage with fast speed

Projectile damage gets higher as the upgrade level increases. Each projectile can be upgrade with Gold. Every 5 upgrades require a Ruby to upgrade. Max upgrade level is 60 and the color of projectile changes every time you upgrade.

Buff

Buff is the most important content in this game. While player is hunting down the bird monster, EXP can be obtained and get leveled up. Every level up gives player a chance to pick the buff skill. Player have to choose one out of three random buffs. If none of them are tempting, player can re-roll the random 3 buffs. Chosen buff will remain until player give up or die in the stage / Boss battle.

→ All monsters temporarily freeze during a set of period
Defense (S) / Defense (L)
→ Defense Bonus
Evasion (S) / Evasion (L)
→ Evasion Bonus
Level-Up HP
→ Recovering HP on level up increases
Attack Speed (S) / Attack Speed (L)
→ Projectile reload speed increases
Front Multishot +1
→ Front Multishot missile increases by 1
Diagonal Multishot +1
→ Diagonal Multishot missile increases by 1
Movement Speed Decreases
→ Monster movement speed decreases
Instant Kill
→ A chance to kill the monster instantly
Death Bomb
→ Fires projectiles in all directions upon monster death
Gold Drop (S) / Gold Drop (L)
→ Gold drop rate increases
Bounce Effect
→ A chance to bounce the monster
Ricochet Shot +1
→ A projectile that hits a monster also hits another monster nearby
Revive +1
→ Revive after death
Full HP
→ Recover full HP
RAGE Charging Time Reduce
→ Collect RAGE gauge faster
RAGE Power Time bonus
→ RAGE time increases
RAGE Damage bonus
→ RAGE Damage Bonus
RAGE Attack Speed Bonus
→ RAGE Reloading speed increases

Tip. Front Multishot and Diagonal Multishot shoot multiple missiles at the same time, so you may want to get this buff as fast as possible!
