Wemade and NHN Bigfoot agreed to onboard Wooparoo PROJECT by the latter on the WEMIX platform.
NHN Bigfoot is a subsidiary of NHN that specializes in games. They have been building up their reputation with Hangame Poker, Hangame Sutda&Matgo, and Baseball Nine, and they recently merged with NHN Pixelcube and NHN RPG to service more RPG, FPS and various genres.
Wooparoo PROJECT is a blockchain version of an SNG (Social Network Game), Wooparoo Mountain, a game that was developed by NHN Bigfoot. This game has been serviced from 2013 to 2020 and recorded 11 million downloads in the global market. Wooparoo PROJECT is the second collaboration with NHN Bigfoot following Project WEMIX Sports, which was announced in February.
Highbrow, which developed and serviced Dragon VIllage, is the developer of the game, and NHN is the publisher. Users can enjoy creating a new ‘Wooparoo’ through multiple combinations and they can sell their own NFT Wooparoo.
“I’m very happy to announce the second onboarding of NHN Bigfoot’s game and we are willing to work with many developers to expand the P&E paradigm, which uses WEMIX as the key currency,” said Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade. “Wemade will create an inter-game economy among games in which the economies of games are closely connected.”
Meanwhile, Wemade has been working with many developers to onboard 100 games on the WEMIX platform by the end of 2022.
