Wemade announced the on-boarding of Hero Online by Mgame on the WEMIX platform.
Hero Online is Mgame’s main MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), which started its local service back in 2005. It is a vigorous yet fancy martial arts game that has been receiving a lot of love from many players of different ages. Based on a storyline co-written by martial arts novelists for the first time in Korea, unique omnibus-type quests and various battle systems received a lot of attention from martial arts lovers. It is currently available to play in Korea, Turkey, Japan, and USA.
With a P&E (Play and Earn) paradigm where you can play games and earn resources, Wemade has been collaborating with many developers to construct the blockchain platform. Its goal is to service 100 games that use WEMIX token as the key currency prior to 2022 year-end.
With the on-boarding of the WEMIX platform, Hero Online will be updated to a traditional martial arts MMORPG with the blockchain system included. They are implementing P&E to Hero Online’s economic system to increase player engagement and are also thinking about adding NFT down the road.
