The WEMIX team announced a strategic investment in a digital fabric sourcing platform, SwatchOn.
SwatchOn connects fabric wholesalers with global fashion brands by converting domestic fabric market products into DBs. 17K fashion brands from 52 different countries are already avid users of SwatchOn with 70% of the sales deriving from the USA, Canada, the UK and France. They started their digital fabric library in 2019 and currently owns the most digital fabrics in the world.
Digital fabrics for 3D fashions require external images and physical traits and SwatchOn is the only channel with more than a thousand digital fabrics that can reflect these physical properties.
With the growth of P2E and NFT markets, the digital fashion market is also growing rapidly. As high-end fashion brands are releasing NFTs in the metaverse, the number of users who decorate their avatars in the metaverse are increasing as well.
SwatchOn will be attracting designer brands through a digital fashion market, VMOD, and signing exclusive digital sales rights contracts. Real clothes, virtual clothes, photoshopped pictures of clothes on buyers, AR events, event invites, and discounts will all be included in the package. VMOD users will be able to see the connection between digital fashion and real fashion.
On June 15th, the WEMIX team will be launching its own mainnet WEMIX3.0. They are adding a stablecoin, WEMIX$ (USDW), DAO-based NFT platform NILE and various DeFi services to expand the blockchain business. Through the collaboration with SwatchOn, WEMIX will cover more NFT business areas.
