WEMIX team announced a strategic investment in Softon Entertainment that owns DarkEden IP.
Softon’s excellent development ability and service capacity were the basis of the WEMIX team’s decision. As with the recent cases of ActionSquare and Thumbage, WEMIX team aims to make long term investments in promising developing companies.
Founded in 1999, Softon has been servicing the world’s first horror action 2D MMORPG DarkEden. Based on the IP, DarkEdenM and DarkEden Origin have been developed and serviced. It is now actively seeking ways to probe into the global market further.
The WEMIX team and Softon have agreed to onboard Softon’s DarkEden on the WEMIX platform last December.
The two companies will broaden their cooperation to pursue even stronger synergy effects.
“We are very glad that the WEMIX team, the leader in the blockchain gaming platform sector, invested in us,” said Taeho Yoo, CEO of Softon Entertainment. “Closer cooperation with the WEMIX team will help us concentrate on developing new titles.”

WEMIX team is focusing on the global market with its full power. Wemade recently successfully finished the Non-Deal Roadshow in the UK and USA, and participated at the GDC 2022 as one of the biggest sponsors.
