Wemade Tree to Add Wemade’s Top Games to Its Line-up
- Add blockchain technology to Wemade and its subsidiaries’ top games
- Re-develop as blockchain games based on smart contracts, introduce WEMIX Token for in-game payments, and support converting game items into NFTs
- Further expansion of ever-growing WEMIX platform
Wemade Tree, a blockchain subsidiary of Korean game maker Wemade, announced a new game line-up for WEMIX, its blockchain platform.
‘Everytown’, ‘WIND Runner’, ‘Abyssrium’, ‘Fishing Strike’, and ‘Icarus M’ are going to be added. ‘Icarus M’, an epic game IP, was recently utilized as a source for ‘Icarus Eternal’, published by Line Games. The other four games are global hits, downloaded more than 10 million times respectably.
Wemade Tree says its blockchain approach will be flexible. This will include re-developing games as ‘for WEMIX’ version based on smart contracts, introducing WEMIX Token for in-game payments, and supporting game item conversion into NFT on WEMIX blockchain. Optimized and customized strategies regarding each game’s characteristics will be deployed for the maximum utilization of Wemade’s top IPs.
Currently, ‘BirdTornado for WEMIX’ and ‘CaiShenChuanQi for WEMIX’ are being serviced, and ‘CrypTornado for WEMIX’ and ‘AquaTornado for WEMIX’ are set to be launched in the first half of 2021. A rich line-up of new titles will be added for the growth of the platform. Also NFT Market, not just for game-related ones but for all types of NFTs, will be opened and a powerful DeFi protocol will be added, establishing WEMIX into an all-around blockchain platform.
