Wemade Tree signs MOU with Danal Fintech to Expand Blockchain Payment

On 30 March, Wemade Tree, a blockchain subsidiary of Korean game company Wemade, announced an MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) with Danal Fintech, a blockchain-based payment platform.
Two companies agreed to join hands to strengthen blockchain interoperability and improve payment business and technology. They will work together and share their blockchain know-how on various areas, including easy-to-use payment via cryptocurrency, to create a synergy effect.
Wemade Tree’s games, <BirdTornado for WEMIX> and <CaiShenChuanQi for WEMIX>, are currently being operated on its own blockchain platform WEMIX. WEMIX DEX(Decentralized Exchange), on which the tokens can be traded, and NFT Market will be made available to support trading all forms of NFTs, not just game items but also digital art, collectibles, and fine art. Seven new games are set to be added to its blockchain game line-up, among which five are based on popular IPs, downloaded more than 10 million times each,.
Danal Fintech has established an infrastructure of affiliates for its own cryptoasset Paycoin(PCI), where PCI can be used for payments similarly to fiat on more than 70,000 on/offline affiliated shops. Constantly expanding PCI’s usability, the company released ‘Danal-UnionPay Mobile Prepaid Card’ with UnionPay, which can be used on UnionPay’s offline mobile affiliates worldwide except China and Korea. Paycoin app plans to provide ways to convert various cryptoassets, such as Bitcoin(BTC), to Paycoin for payment usage.
A wide array of approaches is being discussed. Possibilities might include a support for the direct trade between WEMIX Token and Paycoin, payment linkage, and more. This could open ways to make payments on 70,000+ Danal affiliates in Korea and UnionPay affiliates worldwide except China and Korea for WEMIX users. Likewise, Paycoin users will be able to invest and trade on arts, collectibles, and digital items on WEMIX NFT Market. Also, PCI use in WEMIX games and DEX will be possible.
