- Blockchain gaming platforms, Wemade Tree and Gala Games, agree to work together on game development and operation, as well as overall blockchain technology
Blockchain company Wemade Tree signed an MOU with Gala Games, a blockchain gaming platform.
Gala Games was founded by Eric Schiermeyer, also the co-founder of Zynga, and uniquely allows users to participate in the management of the platform. FarmVille 2, one of the most popular games by Zynga, was enjoyed by approximately 50 million users a month, and its creative director, Michael McCarthy, is behind one of Gala Games’ blockchain games, Town Star. Currently, Gala Games’ monthly user count is about 1.8 million, and the NFTs based on its games are being actively traded.
Wemade Tree and Gala Games seek to work together on game development and operation, and as well as overall blockchain technology, especially related to NFT items.
Wemade Tree is servicing various games, including MIR4 Global, a digital wallet, and NFT Market on its own blockchain platform, WEMIX. This MOU will help expand WEMIX’s reach, and strengthen its overall blockchain business, Wemade Tree said.
