- WEMIX signed an MOU with UT+ Interactive, the company behind a metaverse platform DitoLand
- UT+’s contents to be on-boarded on WEMIX, Wemade’s blockchain platform
Wemade signed an MOU with UT+ Interactive and agreed to on-board the latter’s metaverse platform DitoLand on its blockchain platform, WEMIX.
Founded in 2006, UT+ released various games including Talion, an MMORPG, and Shadowblood, a mobile action RPG. Recently it drew attention in the industry when it developed and started servicing DitoLand, a global UGC metaverse platform.
DitoLand provides users with tools for content making and sharing. Users can make contents on their own and share with friends, and even benefit from them. DitoLand is being used not only as a platform for metaverse contents, but also as a platform for events and education programs by various institutions and organizations. tvN, a cable station that recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, opened a metaverse space Jeulgeoum Land(Fun Land), which was greeted with great fanfare.
This on-boarding means the WEMIX platform users are provided with a metaverse service in which they can create their own contents.
“Wemade has always been interested in DitoLand, so much so that we have already invested in UT+ this April,” Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade said. “We expect the on-boarding of DitoLand will enrich the WEMIX ecosystem.”
“We are glad to work with Wemade whose blockchain technology and know-how are exceptional,” said Ted Taeyeun Yoo, CEO of UT+. “DitoLand, the virtual space created by many users, will be more reliable and credible with blockchain.”
Wemade had announced it will service 100 games whose key currency is WEMIX Token on the WEMIX platform by the end of 2022.
