Wemade announced a plan to launch KLEVA, a De-Fi service, on Nov 19.
Decentralized finance doesn’t rely on conventional financial institutions; instead, blockchain and smart contracts are used to provide financial service. De-Fi participants provide liquidity in the forms of crypto assets to receive rewards in return. This process is called yield farming.
KLEVA is the first leveraged yield farming De-Fi service on Klaytn. Participants can borrow crypto assets against collateral and add the additional liquidity to yield farming. While using anonymous-based De-Fi services run the risk of malicious extortion, KLEVA, provided by Wemade, a listed company, is reliable and amply credible.
Wemade aims to expand KLEVA’s ecosystem by creating synergy effects with other De-Fi services on Klaytn. Plans are in place for pre-marketing via KlayStarter, its first partner KlayFi’s launchpad platform.
KLEVA was developed by Wemade and the smart contract tech startup SOOHO IO, in which Wemade invested. Wemade’s experience in blockchain service and SOOHO IO’s development capacity are expected to create a synergy effect.

Now, with De-Fi, we have already completed the blockchain ecosystem puzzle,” said Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade. “The De-Fi service, escalated by real-time experience, will be the platform for the WEMIX blockchain economy’s finance.”
Wemade plans to launch KLEVA through Wemade Tree Pte. Ltd, a Singapore-based entity, by the year’s end. Its website(kleva.io) will be continually updated with new information.
