Wemade made strategic investments in a P2E NFT card game, SYLTARE, by Like Lion that is currently under development.
Like Lion, which specializes in instructing programming, is actively taking a step forward into the blockchain field. Selected as the 11th KIR (Klaytn Improvement Reserve) project, a support program for partners seeking technological and business development of the blockchain platform Klaytn, it provided Klaytn-based educational development program.
Metakongz, a 3D PFP NFT project that CEO Doo Hee Lee recently launched, sold 10,000 NFTs in seconds over 3 rounds — an achievement that broke all records of domestic NFT transactions. PFP NFT is a digital art NFT in the form of a profile picture.
SYLTARE is a Klaytn-based P2E NFT TCG (trading card game) that enables players to compete against each other by creating a deck (SYLTARE) with 5 SYL cards. 1,000 SYL cards were minted on Jan. 12th in the first round, 1,000 more in the second round on the 13th, and 7,500 more in the third round on the same day for a total of 9,500. They were all sold-out in a second, showing a positive expectation of the market. Each SYL card is a tradable NFT.
Team SYLTARE consists of CEO Doo Hee Lee, Jinho Hong (former pro gamer), Guillaume Patry (former pro gamer), Yoo Hyeon Kim (former poker player), Jongbeom Lee (writer of Dr. Frost), Kibum Kim (illustrator of DJMAX), Jongwoo Won (host of Science With People), and many other experts from different fields.
