Wemade and Ngelgames signed an MOU for WEMIX platform on-boarding of the latter’s games.
Founded in 2013, Ngelgames have released many games including Lord Of Dice and Hero Cantare which have solid fan bases. Its various games cover multi-platforms such as mobile, PC, and VR.
Ngelgames plans to launch Project RTD, amobile RPG based on Tower Of God IP, a webtoon that boasts 4.5 billion hits worldwide and Wonderus: The Arena, a blockbuster action adventure mobile game in 2022. Hero Cantare’s debut in selected non-Korean markets last year proved successful, with the overseas sales exceeding 10 billion KRW.
Wemaid is servicing various games, including MIR4, on its blockchain platform WEMIX. It recently announced the new paradigm of P&E(Play and Earn), where users can earn resources while enjoying game playing. And it continues to work with many game developing companies to that end; the aim is to service 100 games whose key currency is the WEMIX Token prior to 2022 year-end.
“I believe that the games of Ngelgames and the blockchain technology of Wemade can create a new paradigm,” said Jihoon Park, CEO of Ngelgames. “We aim to provide global users with fresh enjoyment through a synergy with Wemade.”
