Wemade announced an acquisition of SundayToz, a casual game powerhouse.
By this acquisition, Wemade will strengthen the casual game lineup of WEMIX, its blockchain platform, and expand it to include the social casino genre.
SundayToz has been servicing various casual games including <AniPang> series, a huge hit and seminal mobile game, and social casino games such as <Slot Mate> and <Electric Slots> through its subsidiaries.
Notably, Play Links, a subsidiary of SundayToz, has already announced that it will enter the blockchain game market in the 2022 with the launching of NFT-based social casino games on the global market.
Wemade presented the new paradigm of P&E(Play and Earn) this year on the global market, where users can earn resources while enjoying game playing. Its MIR4 hit the unprecedented record of 1.3 million concurrent users, and other blockchain games are being serviced on the global market.
“WEMIX is the platform where games of all genres can quickly be transformed into blockchain games,” said Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade. “We will continue M&A globally to expand the WEMIX ecosystem with unprecedented aggressiveness.”
Wemade continues to work with many game developing companies, regardless of genres; the aim is to service 100 games whose key currency is the WEMIX Token prior to 2022 year-end.
