Wemade signed an MOU with ActionSquare and announced a strategic investment.
The two companies agreed upon extensive cooperation, from on-boarding ActionSquare games on Wemade’s WEMIX platform to metaverse-related business.
Wemade is servicing various blockchain games, including a worldwide smash hit <MIR4> global, on WEMIX.
Moreover, with the goal of releasing 100 games whose key currency is WEMIX Token on the platform, Wemade is fiercely focusing on game line-up expansion and continuous investment to foster the WEMIX ecosystem, while keeping its eyes on the blockchain industry in general as well.
ActionSquare is the gaming company behind ‘Blade for Kakao’, the first mobile game to win the Korea Game Awards Grand Prix. ‘Blades Of Three Kingdoms’ and ‘Blade 2 for Kakao’ followed, establishing its powerhouse status in the mobile action game market. Currently, new multi-platform games for the global market are being developed, including shooting action game ANVIL, and ‘KINGDOM: The Blood’, based on Netflix’ IP.
“With Wemade, the powerhouse of blockchain games, we plan to develop global games suited for the metaverse age,” said Yeonjun Kim, CEO of ActionSquare.
“Wemade will keep on investing in games and developers which adopt WEMIX Token as key currency,” said Henry Chang, CEO of Wemade. “Well-made games by ActionSquare will be on-boarded on WEMIX and serviced globally.”
